MGM Las Vegas

MGM Las Vegas is one of the largest hotels on the strip. The first thing that you will notice is a gigantic green building with a huge bronze lion statue. The statue is 45 feet tall, weighs 50 tons, and is the largest bronze statue in the US.When you enter the MGM Grand hotel Las Vegas, you will step into the lobby and you'll get a feeling of how open and large the resort is. The property has well over 5,000 rooms, and depending on what you are looking for, you will have plenty of options when reserving a room. Whether you are looking for something relatively cheap to some of the most luxurious suites that Vegas has to offer, you can get it at MGM Las Vegas.
One thing that everyone should at least visit once is the lion exhibit. It's free to go to, and you get an up close look at these creatures. The trainers feed and play with the lions in front of visitors. It is a pretty neat opportunity to learn about these animals.Across from the lion exhibit you'll find the poker room. As you walk into the casino, you'll be amazed at how large the place is. MGM Las Vegas offers a huge amount of table games and slots to choose from. For restaurants, there are over 20 different options to choose from. Popular options include Wolfgang Puck, Joel Robuchon, Emeril Lagasse, Shibuya Japanese cuisine, and the MGM Grand Buffet. Heck, you can even go to Starbucks in the MGM. Whether you're looking for Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, French, sushi, or American dining there is a restaurant at the MGM for it. For entertainment, you can look into Cirque du Soleil's KA, Crazy Horse Paris (which is a nude dancing performance), or you can go to one of the many pools. You can also find a wide variety of performers including David Copperfield, Howie Mandel, Rodney Carrington, and Tom Jones (check dates for these performers though, as they may or may not be in town during your visit). Oh, there is also the Grand Garden Arena which hosts some of the biggest fights, and some of the best concerts in the country. Looking for something to do at night? Look into Studio 54 which is a modern take on the 1970s club. Or you could check out Tabu Ultra Lounge. Overall, the MGM Grand hotel Las Vegas has a little something for everyone. The sheer size of the place makes this possible. It has a little darker feel than most of the hotels on the strip. By that we mean that it isn't really super bright and flashy. The dealers all wear black, and there are a lot of darker color schemes. It has more of a simple feel to it. But, you will find anything that you could want or need here at MGM Las Vegas.
