MGM Grand Poker Room Review

The MGM Grand poker room has a unique feel to it. It is located next to the lion exhibit and the Centrifuge bar. The room is shaped like an hour glass, and has a dark color scheme.

Generally speaking, the room has lower limit poker games. They normally spread 1-2 and 2-5 no limit hold'em, and every once in a while they spread 5-10 no limit. They also have a selection of limit games to choose from including 2-4, 3-6, and 4-8.

The tables in the MGM poker room are unique as well. They are spacious and they have a marble slab along the outside rim to put your chips on. This is really neat to look at, but some people claim that it makes it difficult to slide chips into the middle of the table.

Being that it is located next to Centrifuge, there is a lot of loud music that plays from the bar. Often they play the same songs over and over, which can get a little annoying after a long session.

They also have some lower limit tournaments here. Normally they are under $100 to enter.

Overall the MGM poker room is a nice one to visit. It's unique feel and abundance of touristy competition make the trip worth it.
