Which Las Vegas Shows Should I Go See?

One thing that I recommend to everyone is to check out some Las Vegas Shows. Shows are a big part of the town, and most of them are just good, but there are some that are great! Here is a brief overview of some to the best ones.

The Blue Man Group is a must see in Las Vegas. Located in the Venetian, this group uses music, comedy, and unique theatrics to provide great entertainment. They appear to be from another planet, as they don't speak and they are painted blue. However, the way they interact with each other and the audience is truly amazing, and hysterical! This is one of the most popular shows in Las Vegas, and is a must see.

Cirque du Soleil is a company known for their acrobatics and musical entertainment. They have numerous shows around town, all of which have a different theme. They are located at Treasure Island, Bellagio, New York-New York, MGM Grand, Mirage, and Luxor. The performers in these shows are amazing, and it is worth it to check out at least one of the shows.

Las Vegas is a popular stop for some of the most famous comedians in the world. Jerry Seinfeld can be found at Caesars Palace, and his act is very good. His comedy is also clean enough for the whole family. Brad Garrett and Ron White often perform at the Mirage. Both of them are great, but expect them to be a little dirtier than Seinfeld. Garrett uses a style where he picks on members of the audience and cracks jokes about them. White uses a style very similar to his Comedy Central routines, but expect some newer material. You can't go wrong with any of these comedians.

There are still some adult themed topless Las Vegas shows, and two of them really stand out. Fantasy at the Luxor is a newer style Las Vegas showgirl routine. The girls play out common male fantasies. The show incorporates music and some comedy, and it really is great. Jubilee! is located in Bally's, and is more of a traditional showgirl routine. The show has flashy outfits, music and dance. The final product really is quite good, and worth checking out.

Magic shows are always fun. Two of the greatest magicians/illusionists perform in Las Vegas regularly. David Copperfield is at MGM Grand, and Lance Burton is at Monte Carlo. Both will make your jaw drop. Trust me, if you like magic, go see these two. You won't be disappointed.

Hypnosis acts are a nice change of pace. In these acts, the hypnotists take a few people from the audience and take them on stage to be hypnotized. They almost always have them do acts that they would never do in front of a group of strangers, and the results are normally quite funny. Anthony Cools' show is at Paris, and Marc Savard's show is at Planet Hollywood. Both of these are good choices.

Las Vegas has all types of shows that will appeal to numerous groups of people and tastes. It all depends on what you are looking for that night. There is no place on earth with the variety and talent than Las Vegas has. So while you're there, go ahead and see a show. You'll be glad that you did!
