Considering the fact that Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas now sits on what used to be the old Las Vegas Park Speedway, is it any wonder that this property houses the largest race and sports book in the world?

And that's not all. The Hilton Las Vegas is also the property where Elvis broke records – attendance records, that is. He performed 58 consecutive, sold out shows in 1969 (back when the property was still the International Hotel), broke the record again in in 1970 and 1972 (after Hilton Hotels Corporation purchased the site) and lived in the penthouse suite (room 3000) whenever he stayed in Vegas.

This is also the site where Leon Spinks went toe to toe with Muhammad Ali to grab the World Heavyweight Championship title in 1978.

But interesting history aside, there are other reasons to stay at the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas. For one thing it has a fairly convenient location, even though it is off-Strip. You'll be right by the Las Vegas Convention Center and have a monorail stop right outside the front door. You'll also be fairly close to the historic downtown area.

If you want another good reason, consider the fact that there are no mandatory resort fees. That means you won't have to pay an extra $10-25 per night just for the privilege of staying there. No extra fees when it comes to nightly rates.
