Food & Fun on Fremont Street

lillies-crop

The Golden Nugget Casino Las Vegas features seven different restaurants, a variety of entertainment options, and even a nightclub, Gold Diggers, where you can shake your moneymaker late into the night with views overlooking beautiful downtown Vegas. There's something for everybody's tastes on the menu, from steak to sandwiches to seafood, and a show for everybody's interests, from comedy to music to wine tasting events.

Whatever you're into, you made a great choice for entertainment, dining and nightlife by choosing the Golden Nugget Casino Las Vegas. Read below for more information on all the hotel has to offer.

Dining at Las Vegas Golden Nugget Hotel

Vic & Anthony's
The famous steakhouse's second location (the first is in Houston) is routinely voted one of the top ten steakhouses in the U.S. With delicious seafood and steak, along with an extensive wine selection and fine dining service, Vic & Anthony's Las Vegas lives up to its fine reputation.

Chart House
Seafood is the specialty at Chart House, so it's somewhat fitting that Chart House diners get to enjoy the views of a 75,000-gallon tropical fish aquarium as they enjoy their meals.

Grotto
Enjoy traditional Italian classics at Grotto. Delicious antipasti, veal and fish dishes stand their ground alongside delicious homemade pizzas. Perfect for a comfortable dinner for two, three, four, or more.

Lillie's Asian Cuisine
Enjoy Pan-Asian cuisine in the fusion tradition at Lillie's. The fun, casual atmosphere is perfect for couples as well as large groups.

Red Sushi
Nibble on freshly-prepared sushi and sashimi and enjoy Japanese sake and beer at Red Sushi.

Carson Street Cafe
If you want pancakes in the afternoon or meatloaf at midnight, come into Carson Street Cafe, which serves all types of food 24-7 for your convenience.

The Buffet
Enjoy freshly-prepared food for breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Golden Nugget Casino Las Vegas buffet. On weekends, come anytime before 3pm for the champagne brunch, or enjoy the Seafood & More dinner featured on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Grille
If you haven't got the time for an old-fashioned sit-down meal, grab a quick bite to eat at The Grille. Featuring pizzas, hotdogs, sandwiches, salads and more, The Grille is the place to go if you're on the go.

Starbucks
Two locations offer freshly-brewed coffee and espresso drinks: one in the South Tower, open 5am until 10pm, and the other in the Fremont Street Experience, which is open 24-7 and features an outdoor patio.

Entertainment at Las Vegas Golden Nugget Hotel

Gordie Brown
Wait, you've never heard of Gordie Brown? The amazing comedian-slash-celebrity impersonator-slash-singer-slash-Vegas entertainment superstar? Catch Gordie Brown's show, which has received rave reviews, Tuesday through Saturday at 8pm at the Golden Nugget Casino. You can buy a package – dinner buffet and a show ticket – for just $34.99 plus tax and service charge. For tickets and more info, call 866-946-5336 or visit the casino's website.

Frankie Moreno Band
Catch the Frankie Moreno Band five nights a week at the Rush lounge. The classic covers and hot new originals are sure to keep you entertained.

Gold Diggers nightclub
Dance all night at the Gold Diggers cocktail lounge and nightclub. Enjoy music from a live DJ and great balcony views overlooking the Fremont Street Experience. Speaking of...

Fremont Street Experience
You'll love the way downtown Las Vegas looks during the Fremont Street Experience. Rising 90 feet above the street and stretching about a third of a mile down the street, the open-air canopy above Vegas' strip-before-The-Strip features live music and a big-screen multimedia presentation. The show starts every night at dusk and continues at the top of each hour til midnight, like clockwork. Oh, and it's not just a clever name – the Fremont show really is free.

Spring Wine & Jazz Fest
Come to the Golden Nugget for their annual Wine & Jazz fest. The fest takes place in March this year (2011). Come to enjoy live jazz music, spirited wine tastings and a great social atmosphere. This is as classy as it gets downtown!
